Description
Join the Power-Up Initiative, a team volunteering project in Arenas de San Pedro, Spain. Together with local children and young people, you will organise sports, creative workshops, intercultural activities and community challenges. You will work as a team, learn from each other and make a real impact in a local community. The project runs from 19 September to 4 October 2026.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will stay in shared apartments in Arenas de San Pedro, within walking distance of all activity locations. Each room is shared with one other volunteer. Food money of €6 per day is provided. Travel costs are reimbursed according to ESC distance calculator rules after the activity.
Training during the activity
Volunteers take part in daily group coaching sessions, one-to-one coaching, Spanish language sessions and reflection moments. A Youthpass certificate will be issued at the end of the activity documenting the learning outcomes and competences gained.
Participant profile
We are looking for motivated young people between 18 and 30 years old who enjoy working with children, are open to intercultural exchange and want to make a positive impact in a local community. No specific qualifications are required, enthusiasm and commitment are what matter most.
