๐ท Activity Details
Description
Hosting organisation offers volunteering opportunities in youth work and the daily operation of a scout centre. Volunteers will support non-formal educational activities for children and young people, assist in organising local and international events, and contribute to the promotion of volunteering and intercultural learning. In addition to their main role, all volunteers will participate in rotational tasks such as reception support, gardening, and general maintenance of the centre. The project follows a learning-by-doing approach, encouraging initiative, creativity, teamwork, and personal development. Most activities take place in Rustavi; however, some programmes, events, and projects may be organised in different locations. Volunteers should therefore be flexible and willing to occasionally travel.
We are looking for volunteers for 9 months, starting in October/November.

The project follows a learning-by-doing methodology, meaning that volunteers are encouraged to develop their competences through practical experience, mentorship, reflection, participation.
Participant profile
We are looking for motivated, open-minded, and proactive volunteers who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow in an international environment. The ideal volunteer is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with occasional changes in plans. We value people who enjoy self-learning, teamwork, intercultural exchange, and are open to supporting different tasks when needed.
Previous experience in volunteering, youth work or working with children and young people is an advantage but not required. Motivation, responsibility, and willingness to learn are the most important qualities.
