It builds partnerships with the private sector around three pillars — impact, income and innovation — enhancing corporate practices, protecting migrants' rights, generating technical partnerships and growing flexible funding that advances the Global Compact for Migration.

The Role

📈 Under the direct supervision of the Director of PSP, you lead global private-sector pipeline performance, fundraiser oversight, and the conversion of high-value corporate and foundation opportunities into realised partnerships and income — providing strategic guidance, tools and quality assurance to PSP fundraisers, Regional Offices and Country Offices.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Private sector partnerships

🎯 Lead and oversee the global fundraising pipeline, with active performance oversight of fundraisers, forecast accuracy and achievement of annual income targets.

🎯 Identify, prioritise and advance high-value opportunities; originate and shape multi-year partnerships and flexible income streams; and build pipeline-management tools, dashboards and guidance.

🎯 Review fundraiser pipelines, challenge assumptions on probability, value and timing, and unblock stalled opportunities, while ensuring internal financial and legal frameworks support private-sector income (including PSP Sustainability Rate oversight).

Capacity building

🧑‍🏫 Supervise and guide the Global Partnerships and Pipeline Unit; coach PSP officers, Regional and Country Offices and the Peer Support Group; and develop practical fundraising tools, playbooks, templates, training materials and campaign assets.

Coordination, monitoring and evaluation

📊 Oversee due diligence for prospects and partners, drive Salesforce/Wave CRM adoption, prepare management analysis on pipeline value and conversion, monitor pipeline KPIs, coordinate donor reporting, and lead a high-performing team — including annual workplans, budgets and resource projections.

Who Can Apply

🎓 Education: a Master's degree in fundraising, philanthropy, nonprofit management, business administration, marketing, communications, international relations, development studies, public administration, international development finance, social sciences, management or a related field, with seven years of relevant experience; or a university degree in those fields with nine years.

💼 Experience: proven leadership of private-sector fundraising and partnership development with corporations, foundations and philanthropic partners, including mobilising multi-million, multi-year and flexible income; overseeing fundraisers, donor portfolios and pipelines; shaping and securing new opportunities; and building long-term partner relationships across geographies and sectors, with strong CRM/pipeline-data ability.
