Description
This long-term ESC volunteering project aims to promote cultural integration and civil engagement through non-formal educational activities. The tasks for the volunteers will be:
Organize and implement non-formal activities in English for kids and teenagers twice a week in Illescas; Attend and participate in the non-formal Spanish classes that are facilitated by the organization twice a week in Illescas; Participate in the activity in a radio of Numancia de la Sagra promoting the project and sharing the experience of volunteering; Ocasionally organize and implement dissemination activities in highschools of the region about Erasmus and ESC programmes; Participate in the activity of creating bike paths/lanes in Numancia de la Sagra; Support organization in creation and preparation of youth exchange projects in Illescas and Numancia de la Sagra; Support organization in maintaining its social media.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will be provided accomodation in a shared appartment in Illescas. Volunteers will receive monthly allowance for food and pocket money and the international travel expenses will be covered in the amount prescribed by the programme.
Training during the activity
The volunteers will receive training for the activities they will carry out from the host organization. They will also participate in on-arrival training and the mid-term evaluation organized by the Spanish national agency.

We are looking for active, proactive, creative, volunteers between 18-30 years, who are open to new ideas, cultures and experiences, who would like to work on their leadership skills and dare to take initiatives, who enjoy sporty outdoor activities as well.
