Description

Volunteers participated in: Art, Mini-zoo - volunteering in an animal care centre, help with the care for the animals. Sport - volunteering in sport clubs like climbing, trampoline jumping, help with the preparation of sport events. Mother care centre. Dance - taking part in activities of the department of dance. Languages - partaking in language lessons for various age groups. Technical support - volunteer help to the technician of Déčko and with the preparation of events. Educational programs for kindergartens and schools. Volunteers are involved in preparation of community events, they will also promote the program and the options of European volunteering. They will also pursue their own initiatives - the so called "mini-projects". They will be also involved in PR activities. The activity includes participation of activities in local schools, pre-schools and kindergartens, assisting the pedagogues, where they will gain experience in using both formal and nonformal education methods.


Participant profile

A flexible person interested in working with children; patience and a willingness to learn new things will also come in handy. You’ll need a bit of resilience, because everyone around you will be speaking a language you won’t understand at first.
