The Green Festival aims to raise awareness about environmental issues, promote sustainable practices and inspire positive actions within the local community of Targu Jiu, Romania, through workshops, movie projections, debates and nonformal activities with local community members. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in organizing and facilitating engaging activities, workshops and events during this two-month volunteering stage.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Targu Jiu is a beautiful city located in the Gorj County of Romania. Known for its rich history, vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes, Targu Jiu offers a unique and inspiring setting for the Climate Change Festival. You will share an apartment or a house (depending on the rent available facilities) with other volunteers, in Targu Jiu. There are different scenarios: However, in each scenario, you might need to share your room with another volunteer – same gender.
