Description
The volunteer will take part in the various activities organised by the Youth Department.
The volunteer will particularly contribute to:
- Engaging and motivating children and young people to participate in activities.
- Helping develop and implement new projects.
- Supporting children with their schoolwork, while building trusting relationships with young people.
- Organising and leading educational and creative workshops adapted to their needs and interests.
As part of the mission, the volunteer will also:
- Participate in the different activities of the Youth Department in order to discover how the service operates.
- Occasionally take part in activities, outings and trips organised for children and young people.
- Co-design and co-lead creative, sports and cultural workshops on Wednesday afternoons, during school holidays and during extracurricular activities.
- Take part in special events and key activities organised by the youth centres.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will have a private bedroom and private bathroom in a shared apartment with another volunteer from a different project.
Lunch is provided on weekdays. The volunteer can reach the volunteering place by bike, bus or on foot, depending on their preference.
