Description

"Be the change" is the motto of five young Europeans who within a framework of the annual volunteer programme will support the educational projects of International Youth Meeting Centre in Krzyżowa. The activities of the volunteers will contribute to provide children, young people and adults the history of Krzyżowa, to stimulate and promote activities aimed at consolidating peace and mutual tolerance marked coexistence of nations, social groups and individuals, and acting on behalf of the European agreement in relation to the spiritual heritage of the Circle of Krzyżowa. The volunteers will expand their knowledge, gain key skills, learn a new culture and a foreign language and gain a multi-dimensional experience. This year there will be a lot of work in the permaculture garden which is one of the biggest project 

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodated in Krzyżowa Foundation, accommodation and meals/ money for meals are guaranteed according to the rules of European Solidarity Corps. Training during the activity

During the project, volunteers will be guaranteed two trainings: on arrival and mid term training. In addition, they will be able to take part in seminars and thematic trainings organized by the Krzyżowa Foundation during the voluntary service.

Participant profile

Volunteers who are passionate about other peoples perspectives - interested in (inter-)cultural exchanges and non-formal education, politics, history, democracy and democratic structures. - want to work with people (youth from different countries) and other volunteers - interested in getting know other European cultures, languages, - socially active person who would like to support local communities - passionate about gardening and nature, who want actively change something and gain new experiences.
