Description

The two main areas of involvement for volunteers are:


1. Design and Development of the organisation's Dissemination Plan:


Volunteers will be responsible for designing and implementing a communication plan to disseminate information about the organization's activities. The means of communication will include electronic and physical channels such as the organization's social media pages, production of printed promotional materials (brochures and posters), articles in local publications, and the organization's website. 

2. Preparation and Participation in Educational Activities:


Volunteers will be actively involved in preparing and participating in the organization's educational activities related to mindfulness, self-development principles, sustainability, digital competences, etc.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteers will stay in double or triple rooms with volunteers from different countries with shared kitchen and bathroom, in the city centre of Kozani, 1 min walking distance from GO Alive office. There are kitchen utilities (pots, plates, etc.), living room, washing machine, hot water and heating. They will have internet connection with Wi-Fi in the house, as well as pillows, duvets, sheets and towels. 

In monthly basis the volunteers will receive 330EUR, with bank transfer, for food and other minor expenses.

There is travel budget from home country according to distance calculator.

Training during the activity

The volunteers will participate in a variety of non-formal learning activities, mostly on mindfulness and youth empowerment, but also on digital skills and sustainability competences. Whether you're taking a gap year, seeking hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector, or simply eager to contribute to a meaningful cause, we welcome your energy and creativity in making a positive impact on the lives of young people in Kozani!

Usually, we offer training sessions every two weeks, as well as monthly mentoring support from a psychologist both individually and in teams.

Participant profile

Eligible participants: Young people between 18 and 30 years old, who don't require a visa to enter Greece and are registered on the European Solidarity Corps portal.

We offer a 3-month volunteering period.
