Post-Arrival Reflection is an international weekend event for workcamp leaders and volunteers returning from short-term ESC or other volunteering projects to reconnect, reflect on their experience, share stories, meet other volunteers, and explore new opportunities – all in Hubenov, 2 hours from Prague.

Join the Post-Arrival Reflection! Post-Arrival Reflection is an international weekend event for workcamp leaders, workcamp participants, and volunteers returning from short-term ESC or projects in the Global South. If you take part, you will have the space to reflect on and evaluate your volunteering experience with the guidance of experienced trainers, share your story with an international group, take part in workshops (gender equality, privilege & power, games, etc.), and discover new opportunities for personal growth within international volunteering. All of this will take place in the relaxing surroundings of RELAX SLAPY in Hubenov.

💶 Costs

Participation fee

No fee, we just expect you to send us your tickets as the confirmation of participation. It will be explained after the recruitment process.

Accommodation and food

All accommodation and food costs will be covered by the hosting organisation.

Participants will be accommodated in a family-run complex "Relax Slapy", located right by the Hubenov Bay, surrounded by pristine, untouched nature.

Regarding food, you will be provided with a shared dinner on Wednesday, three meals on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs will be reimbursed individually to each participant after the activity ends. For this purpose, you will be asked to upload photos or scans of your tickets to a designated folder. Only actual costs documented by valid tickets will be reimbursed, up to a maximum amount determined by the distance from your point of departure to the activity location (Ochoz u Brna, Czech Republic) and the main type of transport used.

Standard transport: plane, car, motorbike, ship

Green transport: train, bus, carpooling with another participant, or bicycle

Reimbursement limits:

10-99km: 28€, green 56€

100-499km: 211€, green 285€

500-1999km: 309€, green 417€

2000-2999km: 395€, green 535€

3000-3999km: 580€, green 785€

4000-7999km: 1188€

8000km and more: 1735€


📜 Certificate
