Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Policy and Programme Support Unit and the direct supervision of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Officer, the successful candidate will support reporting, information management and related programme support functions within the Policy and Programme Support Unit.
Responsibilities
๐ Support the development, compilation, and timely submission of donor reports, as well as other mission-specific reports or donor proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with donor and organizational requirements
๐๏ธ Support the collection, consolidation and organization of inputs from programme teams for reports, updates, briefing notes and other reporting-related documents
๐ Assist in maintaining reporting trackers, information management tools and shared filing systems to support reporting processes
๐ Support the review, formatting and quality assurance of reports and other programme-related documents
๐ค Participate in and provide support for programme-related meetings and conferences at both the national and international levels
๐ป Provide technical support to Programme Units on the use of PRIMA, as needed
๐งฉ As part of the Policy and Programme Support Unit (PPSU), support other PPSU functions as needed, including project development, monitoring and evaluation and compliance
โ๏ธ Undertake travel duties relating to project and programme monitoring, liaison with counterparts, problem solving, and new project and programme development, as required
โ Perform such other duties as may be assigned

Who Can Apply
Candidates should hold a university degree in Social Sciences, Migration Studies, Political Science, International Relations or a related field from an accredited academic institution (accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database).
Experience
๐ Previous internship, volunteer, academic, or professional experience related to reporting, research, information management, programme support, communications, or administration is an advantage
๐ ๏ธ Experience in designing and managing information management tools to facilitate report writing
๐ป Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is desirable

Languages
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish). For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). Proficiency in spoken and written Thai is an advantage but is not required. Stipend and Insurance
Depending on experience and location, interns are granted a small monthly stipend to help offset costs. Interns benefiting from an internship allowance or scholarship granted by their university or other sponsoring body that includes financial remuneration or credits for coursework will not be eligible for the stipend. IOM covers interns against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the internship. IOM does not provide evacuation or medical insurance for reasons related to non-occupational accidents and illnesses, and interns are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work. Any offer made in relation to this vacancy is subject to funding confirmation, and appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment, accreditation, any residency or visa requirements, and security clearances.
