Description
Volunteers will take part in the culturally rich environment of Reggio Emilia, Italy, engaging with the local and international community through YouNetโs activities. They will gain experience in a European context, learning about EU institutions and youth programs. They'll enhance their knowledge through non-formal education means such as interactive workshops, practical laboratories, info days etc., in which the volunteer will take part and help in the organization. The volunteer will take care of Erasmus+ and local activities carried out by YouNet in Reggio Emilia at both local and international levels. Activities will include: Create social media content and manage digital platforms Facilitate non-formal education workshops in local schools Support Erasmus+ mobility project implementation Occasionally teach English or Italian to VET students Assist and accompany students during training and cultural visits, including their first day and trips to other Italian cities
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will share the room with another volunteer (same gender) in a flat with all facilities, shared with other international volunteers. The flat is composed by 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen and dining room. There is wi-fi and a washing machine. The volunteers will have a monthly food allowance and some pocket money to cover basic needs. The volunteer will have available a bike and occasional bus tickets for the city of Reggio Emilia.
Training during the activity
General Online Training, Linguistic support, Pre-departure training, On-arrival training, Mid-term evaluation, Annual European Solidarity Corps events, Post-arrival follow-up. Volunteers will attend monthly meetings with non-formal methods to develop their soft skills.
Participant profile
We are looking for motivated and active volunteers, willing to stay for the entire period of the project, for the minimum of 6 months.
