Description

During this project, you will contribute to teaching english language and digital skills to rural youth of Northern areas of Argeș County. Your role will include designing and delivering engaging lesson plans and supporting students in improving their abilities in a practical and interactive way. You will take part in organizing events such as cultural exchanges and digital workshops that promote the European Union values. All activities will be conducted in English, offering young participants valuable opportunities to improve their communication skills. Our goal is to develop a united and active community interested in participating in recreational, creative and educational activities where cultural exchanges bring value and give the locals an opportunity to learn about other cultures. Overall, you will play an important role in supporting the development of young people in the community, while serving as a valuable resource for those who are committed to helping them grow.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The participant budget covers:

1. Travel costs according with the Erasmus+ Distance Calculator and based on the real travel expenses.

2. Visa fee at the official cost.

3. Full allowance of 4 EUR per day as pocket money.

4. You'll receive 5 euro/day to cover the food and basic necessities.

You will be accommodated in double rooms. Each volunteer will have individual bed and auxiliary furniture as well as access to shared bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and other common facilities.

Training during the activity

The first days of the project serves as an orientation phase. During this time, you will receive training in several key areas:

1. Learn to use the management tools necessary during the project.

2. Training on how to organize, implement, assess, share and record youth activities.

3. Receive access to materials that will help you plan activities.

Participant profile

You are the ideal candidate for us if:

- You are 18-29 years old.

- You have medium - good English and social skills.

- You are interested in working with young people (experience is a plus).

- You are creative, adaptable, enjoy learning new things and can manage stress well.

- You are motivated, open minded and you have willingness to get involved in activities like teaching, organising events, playing with kids and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
