We are currently looking for a motivated Service Intern to join a professional restaurant team in Nieuwpoort, Belgium.

Location: Nieuwpoort, Belgium 🇧🇪

Start date: 1 September 2026

Duration: 3 months

Department: Restaurant / Service

Compensation: €450 per month

Accommodation: 🏠 Provided FREE of charge

Meals: 🍽️ 2 FREE meals per working day

Erasmus+: 🇪🇺 Students eligible for an Erasmus+ grant may receive additional financial support from their university. We will provide the necessary internship documentation to support the Erasmus+ application process.

🍽️ Your Responsibilities

As a Service Intern, you will work alongside an experienced restaurant team and gain practical experience in a professional hospitality environment. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the restaurant, tables and service stations before service
  • Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Serving food and beverages according to company standards
  • Clearing, resetting and maintaining dining tables throughout service
  • Supporting the restaurant team during busy service periods
  • Providing attentive customer service and contributing to guest satisfaction
  • Following hygiene and food safety procedures
  • Assisting with stock replenishment and organisation of service supplies
  • Developing knowledge of the menu, service techniques and professional hospitality standards
  • Working closely with experienced team members to develop practical restaurant and customer-service skills

🎓 Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for students studying Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, Restaurant Management, Food & Beverage, Catering or a related field.

Previous restaurant experience is an advantage but not essential. The ideal candidate is:

  • Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests
  • Motivated and eager to learn
  • Reliable and professional
  • Able to work effectively as part of an international team
  • Interested in developing a career in hospitality
