We are currently looking for a motivated Kitchen Intern to join a professional restaurant team in Nieuwpoort, Belgium.

Location: Nieuwpoort, Belgium 🇧🇪
Start date: 1 September 2026
Duration: 3 months
Department: Kitchen / Culinary
Compensation: €450 per month
Accommodation: 🏠 Provided FREE of charge
Meals: 🍽️ 2 FREE meals per working day
Erasmus+: 🇪🇺 Students eligible for an Erasmus+ grant can receive additional financial support from their university. We will provide the necessary internship documentation to support the application process.
👨🍳 Your Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Intern, you will work alongside an experienced kitchen team and gain practical experience in a professional restaurant environment. Your main tasks will include:
- Assisting with food and ingredient preparation and mise en place
- Supporting chefs during food service and dish presentation
- Preparing basic dishes under the supervision of the kitchen team
- Maintaining clean and organised workstations and kitchen equipment
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Receiving, storing and organising food products correctly
- Assisting with stock control and monitoring product freshness
- Learning professional cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Working efficiently as part of the kitchen team during service
- Following company standards and kitchen procedures
🎓 Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for students studying Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, Hospitality, Restaurant & Catering Services or a related field.
Previous professional kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential. We are primarily looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, eager to learn and comfortable working as part of an international team.
