Join an amazing 180-day volunteering journey on the Zanzibar island! You will assist teachers in classrooms, take part in organic farming activities, support vulnerable families, manage social media, and help organise events and workshops, all while working alongside local staff. ๐ Operational and Security Context
The volunteering activity takes place in Zanzibar, Tanzania, mainly within the Assalam Community Foundation eco-village and its local community projects. Volunteers live and work in a culturally diverse environment and are expected to respect local customs, community rules, and organisational safety procedures. Before and during the deployment, volunteers receive guidance on the local context, health and safety, cultural awareness, and emergency procedures.
