The Unit is seeking a Data, Results and Strategic Foresight Intern to support corporate reporting, data analysis, digital platforms, strategic foresight and results communication initiatives across the organization.

📈 Annual Reporting, Results Communication and Systems Support

📅 Support annual reporting processes, including communication, capacity-building activities and user support to country and regional offices

📚 Assist in updating annual reporting guidance, FAQs, templates and reference materials to support a simplified reporting process

🧪 Support user acceptance testing and feedback documentation for the annual reporting module within the new PRISM system

🗄️ Assist in maintaining and validating corporate reporting datasets, including the global results database and the Learning and Strategy Dashboard

📣 Support the synthesis and communication of key results and performance insights from annual reports and other corporate reporting products

🤖 Contribute to innovative and AI-enabled approaches to strengthen reporting

🌐 Transparency Portal

🔧 Support the maintenance and continuous enhancement of the UN Women Transparency Portal, including the finalization of Phase IV development activities

📤 Assist with updating annual reporting content through the Content Management System and data uploads using CSV files

✅ Support quality assurance, testing and documentation of new portal features

🎤 Contribute to presentations, guidance materials, training resources and communication products related to the Transparency Portal

✅ Qualifications

🎓 University studies in one of the following disciplines: data science, statistics, international development, data communications, foresight or a related field

📚 Meet one of the following: be enrolled in a graduate school programme, meaning a second university degree or equivalent or higher; be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme, meaning minimum bachelor's level or equivalent; have graduated with a university degree and, if selected, commence the internship within a two-year period of graduation; or be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme which is part of a degree programme

🗣️ Excellent communication skills, written and oral, in English are required, and working knowledge of another UN language is an advantage

💶 Remuneration

Interns who are not in receipt of financial support from other sources such as universities or other institutions will receive a stipend from UN Women to partially subsidize their basic living costs for the duration of the internship. The amount is not specified in the vacancy.
