The intern shall support the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) in fulfilling its mission: to work for the protection of all human rights for all people, to help empower people to realize their rights, and to assist those responsible for upholding such rights in ensuring that they are implemented.

The internship is located at the New York Office of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the selected intern will respond to the Public Information Officer.

๐Ÿ“บ Conducting media monitoring and compiling media clippings of news coverage of the work of the Office, the Treaty Bodies and Special Rapporteurs

๐ŸŽ“ At the time of submission, be enrolled in the final academic year of a first-level university degree programme, meaning a bachelor's degree or equivalent, or be enrolled in a graduate school programme, meaning a master's degree or equivalent or higher, or have completed such an academic degree, preferably in the area of law, political science, international relations, social sciences or a related field
