Voices in Action aims to empower young people to become active citizens capable of building inclusive communities where diversity is respected and democratic participation is accessible to everyone. Throughout the Youth Exchange, participants explore topics such as social inclusion, equality, human rights, intercultural dialogue, youth participation and European values through non-formal education methods, simulations, debates, role-playing, community activities and intercultural learning. By the end of the project, participants leave with new competences, practical tools and international networks that encourage them to become multipliers of inclusion and democratic participation within their local communities.
๐ Description of the Project
Today's Europe is more connected than ever before, yet many young people still experience discrimination, exclusion, social polarisation and limited opportunities to participate in democratic life. Despite having access to information and digital tools, many young people feel their voices are not heard and often remain distant from local decision-making processes.
At the same time, diversity has become one of Europe's greatest strengths. Different cultures, identities, backgrounds and experiences enrich our communities, but only when inclusion, mutual understanding and equal participation are actively promoted.

๐ฏ Project's Objectives

๐ Diversity and intercultural dialogue: participants strengthen intercultural competences by working in international teams, challenging stereotypes, appreciating cultural diversity and promoting mutual respect through shared experiences
๐ณ๏ธ Democratic participation and active citizenship: participants explore how democratic processes work at local, national and European levels, while developing the confidence to express their opinions, advocate for their communities and actively participate in decision-making
