Do you want hands-on experience across accounting, operations and business management in a fast-paced startup? The Walking Parrot is looking for a talented intern in Lisbon to support its team across multiple areas of the business, including one of the area's best tennis clubs.

About the Company

The Walking Parrot is a fast-growing company mainly in the tourism sector, providing tours and activities in cities where it operates such as Warsaw, Porto and Lisbon, and organising events for large corporations. It has also expanded to act as a Human Resources agency for other companies. This role is focused on one of its partners in Lisbon, the biggest and one of the best tennis clubs in the area. The company offers trainees the chance to be part of the action in a high-paced, multifunctional startup atmosphere.

What You'll Do

📊 Prepare, organize and analyze company reports, and calculate and manage taxes, invoices and operational costs.

🗂️ Organize and manage tours and daily operations, and create weekly customer and performance reports while evaluating reviews.

🔎 Conduct research to identify new opportunities and innovations, and support the creation of partnerships with new OTAs while managing relationships with existing partners.

🤝 Collaborate across departments to ensure a smooth operational workflow, contribute to the company's branding, mission and vision, maintain compliance with local and international policies, and provide guidance and support to colleagues when necessary.

What They're Looking For

🎓 Eligible for an Erasmus+ grant, ideally with an academic background in Business Studies, Management Science, Communication or Information Sciences.

🚀 A pleasing, responsible and loyal attitude, proactive, outgoing, determined and self-motivated, with strong organizational, coordination and time management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, and a quick-learning, problem-solving mindset.
