About Moeve

Moeve is a Spanish energy company with almost 100 years of history that is undergoing a profound transformation, moving from a traditional model centred on oil and chemicals to becoming a European leader in green molecules. Through its Positive Motion 2030 strategy, Moeve plans to invest up to EUR 8 billion to accelerate the energy transition through the development of renewable hydrogen, second-generation biofuels, biomethane, ultra-fast electric charging and sustainable chemicals. Moeve's European Affairs office works closely with EU institutions, sector associations and other stakeholders on European energy, climate and industrial policy, and is recruiting an intern in Brussels to reinforce this work.

What You'll Do

๐Ÿ“Š Regulatory and policy monitoring: monitor the evolution of EU legislation and regulation in areas relevant to Moeve, and prepare summaries and alerts on important regulatory changes for the different teams.

โœ๏ธ Drafting and analysis: prepare short policy briefs, regulatory alerts and internal notes for non-specialist audiences, and draft position papers, responses to public consultations, briefing notes and supporting materials.

๐Ÿค Institutional relations and public affairs support: support the organisation and management of meetings with European interlocutors, including representatives of institutions and associations; draft minutes of meetings, events and workshops and follow up on agreed actions; and contribute to the design and implementation of engagement activities with policymakers.

Who Can Apply

๐ŸŽ“ A Master's degree in European Affairs, Political Science, European Law, International Relations or related disciplines, with a solid understanding of the EU legislative process and an interest in European energy and climate policy.

๐Ÿง  Excellent analysis, research and synthesis skills for complex information.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Native or equivalent Spanish and a high command of English (spoken and written, equivalent to C2); knowledge of other EU languages is valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, etc.).

๐ŸŽฏ Proactivity, organisation, reliability, the ability to work autonomously and with initiative, and good communication and interpersonal skills. The selected person must reside in Brussels during the internship and is responsible for managing the permits, visas or administrative procedures necessary for their stay and residence in Belgium.

What's Offered

๐Ÿ’ถ An internship contract of at least 6 months through a Convention d'Immersion Professionnelle (CIP), with a net monthly allowance of EUR 2,000.

๐ŸŒฑ Practical experience in European regulatory analysis and institutional relations, mentoring from senior European and Corporate Affairs professionals, and opportunities to attend events, seminars and activities with EU institutions and key stakeholders.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Duration: minimum 6 months. Preselected candidates will be invited to an interview during the summer, and once administrative procedures are completed and the training plan is validated by the competent authorities, the start is expected for mid-September/October 2026.
