Over six months, you will contribute to economic policy work, including the flagship annual Eurochambres Economic Survey, while working closely with the EU institutions.

About the Organisation

Eurochambres, the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry, represents over 20 million businesses through its network of national chambers across Europe. Around 93% of member businesses are SMEs, and together they employ over 120 million people. Eurochambres is looking for a Policy Intern for a 6-month period starting early September 2026, to contribute particularly to its economic policy work. Given the focus on preparing annual publications, notably the annual Eurochambres Economic Survey, the ideal candidate has a solid background in applied economics.

Tasks of the Intern

๐Ÿ“‹ Support in the preparation of surveys, their promotion, and communication

๐Ÿ“ˆ General support for all policy priorities, including legislative monitoring, research on businesses and chambers, preparing background notes, briefings, and reports, and organising online meetings and events

Requirements

๐ŸŽ“ A university degree in economics or political science

๐Ÿ“Š Analytical skills, with the capacity to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis and visualise the findings

๐Ÿ’ป Sound knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of EUSurvey

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Familiarity with the EU institutions and processes, or willingness to learn about European decision-making

๐Ÿค Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, a team player, reliable, adaptable, and able to prioritise

๐Ÿ“ฑ Familiarity with digital communications and social media

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Excellent written and spoken English and one other European language
