ℹ️ Description About The Opportunity
The URBAN-ROOTs workshop is part of the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project "URBAN-ROOTs", supporting young people in becoming active contributors to sustainable urban development.
During this one-day interactive workshop participants will:
- discover the principles of sustainable urban regeneration;
- analyse a local public space;
- map opportunities and community needs;
- co-design ideas for improving the area;
- take part in the first practical steps towards creating a community garden and meeting place.
Although the activity is primarily intended for local young people, the workshop also serves as a practical demonstration of the URBAN-ROOTs methodology developed within the Erasmus+ project. It provides an opportunity for youth workers, NGOs and other stakeholders to experience participatory approaches to urban regeneration that can be adapted and replicated in their own communities.
The workshop is organised by Bioville within the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU project URBAN-ROOTs.
