The Role

As an Advocacy and Communication Intern, you will work closely with the team of experts and contribute to research, policy monitoring, social media, and advocacy, making meaningful contributions to projects with real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Assisting in the management of client platforms (such as association bodies), with a view to providing positioning to the EU institutions

๐Ÿ” Monitoring and analysing stakeholder activities, policy and legislative developments, and funding opportunities relevant to clients, with a view to providing impact assessments

๐Ÿ“ Assisting with the drafting of reports, presentations, and briefs

๐Ÿ“Š Collecting and analysing information, documentation, and data, and supporting the drafting of clear and catchy summary reports for clients

๐Ÿ“ฑ Assisting in creating and scheduling engaging content (text, images, and more) for various social media platforms

๐Ÿ’ฌ Monitoring and maintaining social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Helping manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting

๐ŸŽช Supporting the organisation of events and other networking initiatives

๐Ÿš€ Taking on further activities depending on your skills, interests, and performance

Requirements

๐ŸŽ“ A university degree in a relevant field, such as political science, international relations, economics, or law

๐ŸŒ A passion for politics, European affairs, geopolitics, and public policy

๐Ÿ”Ž Strong analytical and research skills with keen attention to detail

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Excellent communication and organisational skills, with strong multitasking abilities

๐Ÿ’ก A creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content

๐Ÿค The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

๐Ÿ’ป Command of MS Office

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Fluent English (mandatory, written and oral); good knowledge of German, Portuguese, French, Dutch, and other languages is a strong advantage
