About the Internship

The project is carried out in an FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) manufacturing facility. The scope is to understand the current level of digitalisation in manufacturing and to work, through an IoT platform, on increasing the productivity of process flows. The objective is to develop a state-of-the-art digital solution that will then be reimplemented in the company's other factories all over the globe. The cost of accommodation will be covered by the company.

Who Can Apply

This internship is for students in Computer Science and Informatics who have completed at least two years of study, particularly in Computer and Information Research or Database Architecture.

🧩 Knowledge of MVC architecture (Model View Controller) and OOP (object-oriented programming)

⌨️ Computer programming, data entry, and database administration skills

🗣️ Good English (B1, B2) or Czech (B1, B2)

🎙️ An online interview and online testing of your skills will be required

🛂 Only students who do not need a visa for Europe can apply

Work Details

📍 Location: Czech Republic (on-site, office and field work)

⏳ Duration: 25 to 52 weeks, within 31 August 2026 to 10 September 2027 (latest possible start date 13 July 2026)

🕗 Working hours: 40 per week, 8 per day

💶 Gross pay: 30,000 CZK per month, with accommodation costs covered by the company

Living and Lodging

🏠 IAESTE provides accommodation in a student dormitory, where interns are housed in shared double rooms with same-sex roommates. If an intern prefers a single room, they are responsible for arranging alternative accommodation independently.

💶 Estimated cost of living, including lodging, is around 8,000 CZK per month, and the cost of accommodation is covered by the company.
