About the Internship
The Foreign Language Coordination of Instituto Tecnológico de Durango is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Italian language instructor to teach students at beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced levels. The primary goal is to develop students' communicative skills in Italian while promoting cultural awareness of Italian-speaking countries.
Key Responsibilities
📝 Plan and deliver lessons tailored to different levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
🎯 Design and implement dynamic, communicative activities that encourage active student participation
📊 Assess student progress through exams, assignments, and class participation
🔄 Provide continuous feedback to support learning development
🌍 Integrate cultural aspects to help students better understand the language context
🤝 Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed
Who Can Apply
This internship is for students in Communication, Journalism, and related programmes, or Education, who have completed at least three years of study, particularly in Language Education and Linguistics.
🇮🇹 Intermediate or advanced level of Italian proficiency
🗣️ Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students
🎓 A bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, Languages, or related fields (preferred)
📜 ITEP, TOEFL, or equivalent certification is a plus
🌐 Languages: Italian (good, B1 or B2) and English (good, B1 or B2); knowledge of Spanish would be a plus
🗣️ An interview is required

Work Details
📍 Location: Durango, Mexico (on-site, office work) at the Instituto Tecnológico de Durango
⏳ Duration: 12 to 24 weeks, within 25 April 2026 to 10 October 2026 (latest possible start date 15 August 2026)
🕕 Working hours: 36 per week, 6 per day
💵 Gross pay: 12,000 MXN per month
