โน๏ธ Description About The Opportunity
U in Verse is an international training course for youth workers, educators, facilitators, social workers and people interested in supporting the wellbeing and personal development of young people.
Taking place in the ecovillage Oasis des รges in France, the training offers an experiential learning journey exploring mindfulness, embodiment, nature connection, creativity and play as tools for personal growth and youth work practice.
Participants will discover practical and accessible approaches to cultivating presence, awareness, resilience and authenticity through movement, mindfulness practices, creative expression, outdoor activities, reflection and group learning processes.
In a world characterised by increasing speed, stress and overstimulation, the course aims to support participants in reconnecting with themselves, others and their environment while developing competences that can be transferred to their daily lives and professional practice.
The programme is based on non-formal education and experiential learning. Through active participation, peer learning and collective exploration, participants will exchange experiences and develop new methods for fostering wellbeing, inclusion, creativity and meaningful engagement in youth work.
Objectives:
โข To explore mindfulness and awareness-based practices that support presence, observation, listening and conscious response.
โข To develop resilience, emotional regulation and wellbeing through embodied and experiential approaches.
โข To rediscover creativity, curiosity and playfulness as essential elements of learning, connection and youth work.
โข To strengthen facilitation competences and the ability to design and lead experiential learning processes.
โข To explore the potential of nature-based learning, embodiment and mindfulness within youth work contexts.
โข To promote intercultural learning, cooperation and exchange of good practices among participants from different countries.
