Submit a video to the 2026 edition of the PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival! An initiative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), PLURAL+ invites young people up to 25 years old to submit original, creative short films on the themes of migration, diversity, social inclusion and the prevention of xenophobia. By supporting youth-produced media, PLURAL+ recognises youth as powerful agents of positive social change in a world often marked by intolerance and cultural and religious divisions.


Who Can Participate

🔞 Young people up to 25 years old at the time of producing their video

👶 Three age categories: up to 12 years old; 13 to 17 years old; and 18 to 25 years old

👥 Groups are welcome, as long as all members are a maximum of 25 years of age




How to Participate

🎞️ Entries can be of any genre (animation, documentary, drama, music video, comedy, etc.) as long as they make audiences think in constructive ways about migration, diversity, social inclusion and the prevention of xenophobia

⏱️ Videos must be between one and five minutes long, including titles and opening/closing credits

🗓️ Videos must have been produced after 1 January 2023 and, if not in English, must have English subtitles


How to Submit

▶️ Submit through a video-streaming website (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo) and include the video URL in the form, or

📁 Submit through a file-hosting website (e.g. Dropbox or Google Drive) and include the video URL in the form

🏆 The PLURAL+ International Jury Award, given by an international jury to one video per age category

🤝 Special Recognition for Combating Xenophobia and Discrimination

📰 Special Recognition for Responsible Narrative on Migration

🤖 Special Recognition on AI for #OneHumanity

🎉 Winners are also invited to the PLURAL+ Awards Ceremony in late 2026
