Eurojust, the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation, is offering a traineeship in internal control and risk management at its headquarters in The Hague. The trainee will familiarise themselves with the Eurojust Internal Control System (ICS), which helps the agency achieve its objectives through a consistent performance-management approach.

Traineeship Specification
๐ Support and participate in preparing and launching the Eurojust Internal Control Framework annual assessment and periodic monitoring, including the launch of the iCAT Survey
๐ Support and participate in developing and monitoring the annual risk assessment
๐ค Participate in and support any other related tasks
Eligibility
๐ช๐บ Be a national of an EU Member State or an EU candidate country (exceptionally, nationals of third countries with a cooperation agreement or working arrangement with Eurojust may be accepted, depending on budget)
๐ Be a recent university, master's or doctorate graduate, with the diploma obtained by the closing date
๐ฌ๐ง Have very good English (minimum B2), Eurojust's working language
โ Not have received more than six weeks of any in-service training/internship, nor have worked or been employed in any capacity within an EU institution, body, office or agency
General Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
๐ A completed university degree in Business Administration or other relevant technical fields
๐ Experience in dealing with internal controls and risk management
๐ Strong analytical skills, an eye for detail and a capacity to work with procedures
๐ป Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
โฑ๏ธ Ability to deliver results of excellent quality, often under strict time constraints
๐ค A team player with a customer-oriented attitude, able to take responsibility and work autonomously
๐ฃ๏ธ Very good interpersonal skills, including oral and written English
Selection Process

๐ Before signing the agreement, trainees provide original documents evidencing identity, education, proof of sickness insurance and a certificate of good conduct (not older than six months)
๐ชช Trainees must hold valid health insurance for the Netherlands throughout the traineeship (not covered by Eurojust); civil liability insurance is also advised
