Open call for young people aged 18 to 30 from Latvia, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic and Greece to join the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Smells like Green Spirit, around ten days in the peaceful countryside near Drusti, Latvia, from 26 August to 4 September 2026. It's for young people who want to slow down, reconnect with nature and explore simple, practical ways to live greener.

About the Exchange
Over ten days near the forests and fields of Drusti, you'll dive into green practices, nature-based wellbeing tools and everyday habits that support both personal wellness and care for the environment. You'll live together as a community, share daily tasks, reduce screen time and discover how small green actions can create positive change in your daily life and local community.

The Venue
The exchange takes place at the guest house "Pฤผavnas" near Drusti, Latvia, in a remote area away from the distractions of cities and shops. Participants share cosy, simple rooms (2 to 5 people), living together as a community and sharing responsibility for daily tasks. Wifi is very limited, an invitation to spend the week less connected to technology and more to people, nature and yourself.
Food
๐ฝ๏ธ Three daily meals and two coffee breaks, vegetarian with vegan alternatives available (note special dietary needs in the practical questionnaire)
๐ซ A no-alcohol, no-drug policy to create a safe space for everyone
Travel & Reimbursement
๐ถ Travel costs reimbursed after the exchange (usually within two months), once you send all travel documents and complete the closing and dissemination tasks, up to a maximum per country
๐ About โฌ20 of the reimbursement covers the local private bus to reach the venue
๐ Keep all original travel documents (bus and train tickets, invoices, boarding passes), as reimbursement cannot be done without them
