EUMICON is looking for an intern who wants to take their first steps in the field of policy and events in the European bubble. It's a chance to gain hands-on experience in policy, communications and event management across the EU landscape.


About EUMICON

A European-wide platform bringing together stakeholders from the mineral resources and metals industries to discuss and promote sustainable European raw materials value chains. Through high-level conferences, workshops and dialogues, EUMICON raises awareness of the sector's challenges and fosters stakeholder engagement to support a competitive European industry.


What They're Looking For

โœ๏ธ Drafting written materials, including briefing documents, social media posts, articles, Q&A documents and event reports

๐Ÿ“ฐ Monitoring and reporting on media activity related to EU policies, raw materials and sustainability topics

๐Ÿ“ง Managing internal communication channels, such as webinars and staff mailings

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Keeping the network contact list updated and tracking key industry developments

๐ŸŽช Assisting in the planning and execution of high-level meetings and events, online and in person

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Attending EU-related events and supporting the coordination of meetings with policymakers, MEPs, industry leaders and media professionals

๐Ÿค Providing input into strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives to strengthen EUMICON's role in the EU policy landscape


Qualifications & Skills

๐ŸŽ“ University degree in a relevant field

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Strong command of English (French and German an advantage)

๐Ÿ’ป Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel

๐Ÿค Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities

โฑ๏ธ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

๐Ÿ’ก Creativity, flexibility and an open-minded approach

๐ŸŒ Interest in raw materials, energy, sustainability or EU industry topics

๐Ÿš€ Proactive attitude with strong motivation to learn and contribute
