ESN Porto is looking for a Marketing Intern (Data & Strategy Focus) to help them understand what works, what doesn't and how to improve — analysing social media performance, researching audience behaviour and supporting data-driven decisions that grow the section's reach and impact. About ESN Porto
A local section of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), one of the largest student associations in Europe. They support and connect over 3,000 international students in Porto every year through cultural, social and recreational activities — from cozy events to trips, parties and volunteering projects. In 2024, Porto was awarded Erasmus Destination of the Year. Their mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive and unforgettable experience for every international student who chooses the city.
About the Role
You'll analyse social media performance, research audience behaviour and support data-driven decision-making. Beyond the role itself, you'll be part of the ESN Porto experience — attending events, joining trips and building friendships with Erasmus students from all over the world.
Key Responsibilities
📊 Monitor and analyse social media performance (reach, engagement, follower growth, etc.)
📈 Track and report on sales and usage data for ESNcards and event participation
🛠️ Use tools like Google Ads, Analytics and Meta Business Suite
✍️ Write blog posts and implement SEO strategies to improve organic reach
📧 Assist with building newsletters
💼 Help manage and optimise the LinkedIn presence
🔍 Research marketing trends, conduct competitive analysis and benchmark against similar organisations
📑 Build and update monthly reports and dashboards (Google Sheets or Excel)

Your Profile
🎓 Background or experience in Marketing, Business, Digital Communication or similar
🛠️ Familiarity with SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads and email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp)
🧠 Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data and present it clearly to non-technical teammates
🗂️ Good organisational and reporting skills
🇬🇧 Fluent in English (written and spoken)
➕ Knowledge of ESN is a plus
