GoinEurope rents bicycles and runs daily bike tours around the city, with a mission to promote being environmentally friendly and respectful of the world we live in. They're looking for an Erasmus+ intern to get hands-on across tourism and administration.
About the Project
They offer both guided and independent tours and, depending on customer needs, can customise them. The main part of the project is creating bike adventures around Spain — all built around a commitment to sustainability.
Administration Tasks
🧾 Learn how to invoice a small business
🤝 Learn how to handle commissions with different collaborators
💻 Manage the corporate profile across platforms that sell their services (communications, activity commissions, etc.)
💶 Learn how to offer budgets to clients according to their reservation demands and the type of business
Customer Service
ℹ️ Offer customers the information they need to rent bikes or take a guided tour: prices, routes, timetables, city maps and more
📧 Monitor customers by email — provide adapted budgets when needed and share useful updates on activities, meeting points, schedules or prices
🖥️ Manage external booking platforms where their products and services are offered
Working With Bicycles
🔧 Check the bikes when customers return them and learn the process of receiving bicycles after a rental or tour (nothing broken, padlock and keys in good shape, customer satisfaction)
🧼 Simple cleaning of bicycles — and communicate with the mechanics when a bike needs more thorough cleaning or oiling
📞 Attend customer calls for breakdowns and arrange with the team how to help
🚲 Help the whole team get bicycles ready for large tours and store them afterwards
🗂️ Keep the store, bicycles, locks, baskets, bags, documents, tools and personal effects always in order
