It Sounds Fun is an academy in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) looking for bright, enthusiastic, motivated candidates for a paid English teaching internship running 9 months, from 1 September 2026 to 15 June 2027. With over 12 years' experience hosting interns from many countries, they offer a supportive environment to learn and make the most of your time in the south of Spain.
About the Role
This is a teacher-in-training position where you'll gain insight into being a great EFL teacher, working with children and teenagers in their modern, spacious and well-equipped academies in Jerez — with full support, monitoring and training throughout the year.
What You'll Do
🍎 Teach English lessons to children aged 2–18
📚 Help with course and class planning outside the classroom
✂️ Create and produce classroom resources such as flashcards and posters
📝 Contribute to student assessment by writing reports and giving feedback to supervisors on progress
👀 Observe classes to build your knowledge of classroom management and discipline
🎉 Learn how to deliver class content in a fun, enthusiastic way that keeps students engaged and participating
🔤 Improve your knowledge of English grammar and how to help students reach their goals in speaking, listening, writing and reading
🎓 Prepare older students for official Cambridge English exams, with instruction on the techniques and knowledge needed to do well
🎲 Learn games, activities and pair-work exercises to keep classes fun while learning
🧭 Be monitored and observed by the heads of studies, who provide help and support throughout

Compensation & Training
💶 A paid internship — €500 per month on top of your Erasmus grant
📄 Requires a university agreement or an Erasmus+ agreement
🎓 Full training is provided, both at the beginning of the internship and throughout the course
