Tasks for the Leisure Department
๐ถ Updating cost sheets for proposals and confirmed programmes, including securing supplier services and negotiating rates where appropriate
๐บ๏ธ Putting itineraries together
โ๏ธ Helping write descriptions for suppliers, such as hotels, restaurants and evening events
๐ Dealing with suppliers and requesting rates and availability daily by email and phone (a good level of English is essential here)
โ๏ธ Answering phone calls and transferring them to the appropriate team member
๐ Assisting with sales and marketing activities โ sales trip preparation and creating PowerPoint presentations
๐ข Covering front office reception as assigned
๐ฑ Assisting the Abbey Group with its environmental and responsible tourism initiatives
Flexibility is required, as the role may also extend to support any of the company's other departments when needed.
Skills & Requirements
๐ฃ๏ธ Fluency in English is essential
โจ๏ธ Good basic keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
๐ค Excellent teamwork skills
โฑ๏ธ The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
๐งญ Good communication and organisational skills
๐ Students must be affiliated with a college/educational institution/Erasmus/Leonardo da Vinci etc., or the internship must be part of their studies
