❗️What Is This Training About?
A space to move from knowing NVC to embodying it—through practice, honest reflection, and community support. Learn to stay connected in moments of stress and emotional intensity.
ℹ️ Description About The Opportunity
This training is designed for people who already have experience with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and want to deepen their ability to live it in everyday reality.
Many participants come to NVC trainings, feel inspired, and connect deeply with its values. Yet when returning to daily life: fast pace, conflicts, emotional pressure, it often becomes challenging to stay connected and apply NVC in practice.
This training focuses exactly on this gap: moving from understanding NVC to embodying it.
The programme offers an immersive 10 day learning space based on non-formal education methods, where participants will engage in practical exercises, real-life scenarios, reflection, and peer learning. There will be a focus on applying NVC in challenging situations, strengthening emotional awareness, and building resilience to remain connected when disconnection happens.
Participants will explore:
- how to express themselves honestly while staying connected
- how to listen with empathy, especially in moments of tension
- how to navigate emotions in a constructive way
- how to stay connected to their own needs and prevent burnout
- how to integrate NVC into their daily work with young people
The training also includes embodied practices (such as grounding and awareness exercises), role plays, and group processes that support learning through experience rather than theory alone.
The training is designed to respond to the needs of participants, so the programme will be adapted to the challenges you face when applying NVC in your work and daily life. Participants are also invited to facilitate sessions and receive feedback from other NVC practitioners to further develop their facilitation skills.
Participants profile: this activity is specifically targeted at people working in the field of non-formal learning and youth work, including youth workers, educators, facilitators, and trainers who have at least 25h+ of previous NVC training and who are applying it but struggling in some areas.
By the end of the training, participants will strengthen their communication skills, emotional awareness, and ability to create more empathetic and inclusive spaces for young people. They will also gain concrete tools and practices that can be directly transferred into their work, contributing to a more sustainable and impactful youth work practice.
Selection results will be announced lates on 7th of June.
