DESCRIPTION

Merry Go Tiun is a team volunteering project that will involve 20 participants from different countries around Europe. It will include the daily planning of the farmlife in Perma Halos, the organization of a festival in the park of Onești as well as a wide range of activities dedicated to the volunteers. Concerning the festival, this is now at its third edition Merry Go Park and is dedicated to the Onești community, especially children and young people. Beyond this experience, it will be a blast for all the participants to step out of their comfort zones from their different origins and cultures that will give them opportunities to develop practical skills and knowledge in a rural background with the locals (cooking, outdoor activities, arts, working with children, etc).


ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

Volunteers will live in shared community-style housing, where rooms, bathrooms, and a kitchen are provided. A great chance to experience collective living, share daily responsibilities, and build strong friendships with each other. Taking care of the house will be part of the experience, encouraging teamwork and a sense of belonging For project activities, the hosting organization will provide local transport to and from Onești town and Mănăstirea Cașin village Each month, volunteers will receive 270(covering food allowance and pocket money) to support their personal needs and leisure time


TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

Participants will have a scheduled day to share their skills and knowledge and a dedicated space will be provided for this purpose. Morning sessions such as yoga, meditation and sports activities will also be included . However, the schedule should be organised as follows: Week 1: Team-building activities and the settling-in process. Weeks 2-3: Preparing, promoting, and implementing activities for local events such as the Onesti festival “Merry Go Park”at the end of May . This includes crafting, farm tasks and non-formal activities with local youth.


PARTICIPANT PROFILE

We’re looking for enthusiastic young people who are: Flexible and adventurous, ready to embrace new experiences. Excited about community and farm life, including shared living spaces and group activities. Comfortable with animals and nature, and not afraid of insects. Happy to contribute to daily tasks, such as cleaning, maintenance, and caring for the garden.
