An Italian government scholarship programme now in its 21st edition, dedicated to the memory of Giulia Cecchettin — a young woman whose dream was to study and build a future in Italy. Every year, Invest Your Talent in Italy brings international students to Italian universities for Master's degrees in Engineering, Design, and Economics, including a mandatory internship in an Italian company.

The programme is a bridge between international talent, Italian universities, and Italian business — and it is now open for applications for the 2026–2027 academic year.

What Is This Programme?

Invest Your Talent in Italy was launched in 2005 with the aim of promoting intercultural dialogue and fostering integration among young generations. It currently spans 23 countries, more than 20 universities, and a wide network of Italian companies offering internships. All courses are taught entirely in English, and each student's programme includes Italian language and culture study alongside a mandatory internship in an Italian company or trade association.

As part of the programme's commitment to social impact, all grantees are required to attend a seminar or course on gender equality and the fight against gender-based violence — in honour of Giulia Cecchettin, to whom the programme has been dedicated since the 2023–2024 academic year.

Scholarship Details

🎓 Scholarships are awarded for Master's degrees (Laurea Magistrale or Master universitario) at partner Italian higher education institutions

📅 Duration: 9 months (first year) — with possible renewal for the second year

🏢 All selected candidates must attend a mandatory internship at a partner Italian company

⚠️ The scholarship is incompatible with any other scholarship or financial aid provided by the Italian government or any Italian public institution
