Maison de l'Europe Le Mans — Sarthe is an organisation whose DNA is built around European mobility and intercultural understanding. They believe that being in contact, meeting people, and exchanging cultures is the most effective way to fight fear of "the other" and build lasting peace. Their ESC volunteer is a central part of that mission — not an addition to it.
What Is This Role About?
The volunteer joins the Maison de l'Europe team and becomes actively involved in their educational and community work. They accompany colleagues to schools, lead their own workshops, create educational tools, and present both their own country and the European Solidarity Corps programme to young people and local communities in Sarthe.

🏫 Accompanying a colleague to schools to promote Europe and talk about your country and culture
🎨 Creating your own educational tools to present your country or the EU in a fun and interactive way
🎭 Leading workshops about your country and culture with local kids and teenagers during school holidays in Sarthe
📢 Presenting the ESC programme to young people and communities

Accommodation & Practical Details
