YesEuropa — Building Bridges Association is organising EuroPath — an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange designed to introduce young people aged 20 to 25 to the European youth work ecosystem. Whether you have never heard of Erasmus+ or have already done a volunteering placement and want to know what comes next, EuroPath meets you where you are. The mix of experience levels is not a problem — it is the point.
What Is EuroPath?
EuroPath takes participants on a structured journey through the European youth projects landscape — from first opportunities like ESC Solidarity Projects and K1 Youth Exchanges, all the way to understanding K2 Strategic Partnerships and simulating a real European project pitch. The collective output of the week is the EuroPath Map — built day by day by participants, charting youth work landscapes, funding opportunities, and project ideas. You take it home.
The Programme — Six Days, One Journey
📅 Day 0 — Arrival & Setting the Stage Settle in, meet your group from across Europe, and understand the journey ahead.
📅 Day 1 — The European Youth Projects Ecosystem Who works in this world? What roles exist? Map the landscape with your peers.
📅 Day 2 — First Opportunities: ESC & K1 Youth Exchanges Discover the entry points. Then build and pitch a real project idea from scratch.
📅 Day 3 — Next Steps: Introduction to K2 Zoom out to the bigger picture. Connect your ideas to European priorities and funding logic.
📅 Day 4 — K2 Simulation & EuroPath Map Completion Design and pitch your K2 project. Complete the collective map. Celebrate.
📅 Day 5 — Closing & Departure Reflect, receive your Youthpass, and take your next steps home.
Who Should Apply?
EuroPath is looking for people, not CVs.
🔹 Age: 20 to 25 years old (Group Leaders: 25+)
🔹 EU residents or from an Erasmus+ associated country
🔹 Working level of English required
🔹 You have participated in a Youth Exchange or ESC and want to know what comes next
🔹 You are active in an association or informal group and curious about European funding
🔹 You are interested in youth work — as a career, as volunteering, or just as an idea
🔹 You are an ex-volunteer who touched the ecosystem and wants to go deeper

Selection Process

🎤 Interview — pre-selected candidates are invited to a short online interview with the YesEuropa team

Venue & Logistics
📍 Finca Los Batanes — Ctra. Rascafría-Pto Navacerrada, 28740 Rascafría, Sierra de Guadarrama Natural Park — a rural retreat 70 km north of Madrid, surrounded by pine forests and mountains
🚂 By train: Cercanías C8b from Madrid (Atocha/Chamartín) to Cercedilla, then bus 691 to Rascafría — approximately 1.5 hours
🚗 By car: via M-604, approximately 1 hour from Madrid city centre
🚌 YesEuropa may organise a shared transfer from Madrid — details confirmed with selected participants
Costs
💶 No participation fee
🍽️ Full board — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — all covered for the duration
🏠 Full accommodation for all participants covered
🎓 Youthpass Certificate provided upon completion
✈️ Travel reimbursement according to Erasmus+ distance calculator — processed after the activity upon submission of all documentation. All travel plans must be approved by YesEuropa before purchasing tickets.
📍 10–99 km: €28 standard / €56 green travel
📍 100–499 km: €181 standard / €255 green travel
📍 500–1999 km: €279 standard / €387 green travel
📍 2000–2999 km: €376 standard / €530 green travel
Reimbursement amounts are adjusted to cover insurance for all participants. Reimbursement processed within 30 days after the activity.
