Many youth workers fall in love with Nonviolent Communication during a training. They experience connection, empathy, and a new way of being with others. And then real life happens โ busy schedules, conflicts, emotional overload โ and slowly, almost unnoticed, the connection fades. This training course is for that moment.
KALM International Trainings is organising It's a Love Story โ Living Nonviolent Communication in Youth Workโ a 10-day Erasmus+ training course taking place in Drusti, Latvia, from 7 to 18 August 2026. The course brings together youth workers, educators, facilitators, and volunteers from 8 countries who already have experience with NVC and want to move from knowing it to actually living it.
What Is This Training About?
The aim is not to become perfect in NVC. It is to support youth workers in transforming their relationship with NVC from a short-lived inspiration into a sustainable, embodied practice โ one that holds up in stressful situations, conflicts, and the daily reality of youth work. The project is an invitation to reconnect, to practice, and to feel supported by a community that understands the same challenges.
