The European Pain Federation is a non-profit medical society focused on pain medicine, bringing together 40 national chapters across Europe. Its activities span education, research, and advocacy โ including a biennial scientific congress of 3,000+ attendees, medical schools and examinations, a scientific journal, and EU health policy advocacy. The Brussels Executive Office coordinates most of these activities and this traineeship sits right inside that operation.

โ๏ธ Assist in the Federation’s communications activities and draft articles and press releases
๐ฒ Manage social media accounts and develop online and offline promotional materials
๐ Update and maintain the WordPress website
๐ง Use Mailchimp for newsletter management
๐ Carry out digital marketing and SEO actions
๐๏ธ Build the Federation’s community and promotional database (CRM)

๐ฐ Monitor developments in EU health policy relevant to pain medicine
๐ค Attend and report on selected EU health policy events in Brussels
๐ Track developments in the pain medicine industry sector

๐ Assist in the Federation’s advocacy activities
๐ Follow EU policy developments and understand the legislative process
