The Walking Parrot is offering a full-time Marketing and Advertising Internship across three cities โ and if you live and breathe both marketing and sport, this placement was built for you.
๐ข About The Walking Parrot
The Walking Parrot operates under the Tennis Club brand and runs across multiple locations in Europe. This internship is available in Lisbon, Porto (Portugal) and Warsaw (Poland) โ you pick your city, you join the team, and you get to work on real marketing activity from day one.
๐ฏ The Role
This is a full-time, hands-on placement running approximately 30 hours per week. You won’t be sitting in the corner watching. You’ll be inside the marketing workflow โ planning, creating, analysing, and iterating alongside experienced professionals who actually care about the work.
๐ Responsibilities
๐ข Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional media channels
โ๏ธ Create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and the company website to boost brand visibility and audience interaction
๐ Support event promotion by crafting promotional materials and coordinating outreach efforts
๐ Conduct market research to identify new marketing opportunities and stay informed about industry trends
๐ Analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using analytics tools and provide insights for improvement
โ What They’re Looking For
๐ Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
๐ฑ Proficiency in social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
๐จ Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
๐ฃ๏ธ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
๐ค Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
๐ก Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
โฝ A genuine enthusiasm for sports and an understanding of the sports industry โ this one is a must
๐ A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
๐ Ability to take initiative and work independently while also being a strong team player
Prior marketing or advertising experience such as internships or volunteer work is a benefit but not mandatory. Erasmus+ eligibility is required.
