🇧🇬 Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Bulgaria 🌍 Inclusion & Intercultural Learning 🤝

Introduction

“Roots to Routes” is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange taking place in Belchin, Bulgaria, bringing together young people from different backgrounds to explore inclusion, diversity, and social cohesion. The project creates a space for intercultural dialogue and mutual learning, while encouraging participants to take meaningful action in their communities.

Objectives of the Project

The project focuses on empowering young people through awareness, skills development, and participation.

Project Activities

Accommodation and Living Conditions

Participants will stay in Belchin with initial arrival in Sofia.

🏨 First night accommodation in a hostel in Sofia
🚌 Organized transfer from Sofia to Belchin
🏠 Full-board accommodation during the exchange
🛏️ Shared rooms with 2–3 participants
☕ Meals and coffee breaks provided

Travel and Financial Support

The project follows Erasmus+ funding rules for travel and participation.

✈️ Travel costs reimbursed based on Erasmus+ distance bands
🚆 Only public transport (bus, train) eligible for reimbursement
📩 Travel plans must be approved before purchase via tickets@y-peer.org
🌱 Green travel by land is required
💰 Full board accommodation and local transport covered

Practical Information

Participants should be prepared for both indoor and outdoor activities.
