🌍 About the Project
Join The Cavan Centre for a life-changing ESC volunteering opportunity focusing on:
- Youth and community development.
- Outdoor activities and team-building with diverse groups.
- Building a more inclusive society while addressing social challenges.
🌟 Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and ensure enjoyment in outdoor activities for visiting groups.
- Participate in community and youth work initiatives.
- Prepare, maintain, and store activity equipment.
- Assist with cleaning duties in activity zones, residential areas, and dining spaces.
- Participate in water and land activities and group management.
- Support kitchen operations and handle bed-making and laundry tasks.
- Collect data and manage feedback forms.
🛋 Accommodation, Food, and Transport
🏠 Accommodation:
- Free, comfortable lodging in a local home, just 5 minutes from Ballyjamesduff.
🍴 Weekly Allowance: €190 for personal expenses, including food.
✈️ Travel Costs:
- Reimbursement for travel expenses, based on the Erasmus+ Guide distance calculator.
🚗 Work-Related Travel: Fully covered.
📚 Training and Support
- Child Protection Training to ensure safety and compliance.
- Garda Vetting as part of the onboarding process.
- Ongoing mentorship and participation in staff meetings for skill development.

We’re looking for motivated individuals aged 18–30 who:
- Are passionate about building inclusive communities.
- Want to make a meaningful difference while developing new skills.
- Are eager to grow personally and professionally through this inspiring program.
