Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young boys? 🇮🇹✨ Istituto Walden is looking for two motivated ESC volunteers (1 male, 1 female) to join their housing community in Menfi, Sicily. You will support educators in a shelter for boys (14-18 years old), helping them with rehabilitation and social inclusion through daily life support, workshops, and educational activities. If you have a background in social work or psychology and want to experience the authentic Sicilian lifestyle, this 6-month journey is for you! 🚀🌟🌍
🌍 Did You Know? Menfi is famous for its "Inycon" wine festival and its stunning beaches, which have consistently won the "Blue Flag" for water quality for over 20 years! 🍷🏖️
Your Missions & Tasks
📚 Educational Support: Helping with homework, language lessons, and basic education.
🎨 Creative Workshops: Organizing cooking, theatre, music, or art sessions for the residents.
🏠 Community Life: Preparing shared meals, keeping the house welcoming, and supporting daily routines.
🗺️ Social Inclusion: Accompanying the youngsters on trips to discover the local area and culture.
Accommodation & Financial Support
🏠 Living: Shared flat in Menfi with double bedrooms, a kitchen, and a dining room.
💰 Pocket Money: €6 per day + €100 monthly allowance for food.
🏥 Benefits: Health insurance (Henner), travel reimbursement, and an online Italian course are provided.
🗓️ Schedule: Max 35 hours per week with 2 consecutive days off (not weekends).
