Stagones Social Cooperative in Vlachia, Greece is looking for 2 European Solidarity Corps volunteers aged 18 to 30 to spend 4 months immersed in permaculture, natural building, woodwork, herb collecting, and the organisation of workshops on self-directed education, arts, and wellbeing. What Will You Do as a Volunteer?
🌱Work in the garden and apply permaculture principles — contributing to a living, productive landscape designed around ecological balance and sustainable food systems
🏗️Take part in natural building projects using traditional and ecological materials — learning hands-on construction techniques that have been used for centuries
🪵Work with wood — from practical woodcraft to creative projects — developing real skills with tools in a supportive and nature-based environment
🌼Collect herbs and plants from the surrounding landscape, contributing to the cooperative's connection with local natural resources and traditional ecological knowledge
🎨Help organise and support workshops on self-directed education, arts, and wellbeing — creating space for community members and guests to explore and grow
🤝Co-shape the flow and rhythm of the project alongside the team — the exact programme is determined in collaboration with volunteers according to the community's real needs

Participant Profile
🎂You are aged 18 to 30 and resident in one of the eligible ESC programme countries
🌾You are highly motivated, genuinely familiar with living and working in nature, and comfortable using tools in practical, hands-on settings
🤝You are able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently — adapting to the natural flow of community life and the project's evolving needs
💛Stagones is looking for people with balanced personalities, an open heart, and a genuine longing for authentic, honest human relationships — this matters as much as any practical skill
