Volunteers will support youth centre activities, community programmes, and youth camps organised by a local organisation focused on youth development.

The project offers an opportunity to gain experience in youth work, community engagement, and educational activities, while living and volunteering in a small Slovak town.
๐ About the Volunteering Project
The hosting organisation works with young people through youth centres, community activities, and camps that promote personal development and community participation.
Volunteers will support the organisation in running activities for young people, maintaining youth spaces, and contributing to the preparation of workshops, youth camps, and community initiatives.

The project also focuses on creating a welcoming environment for young people where they can develop skills, build friendships, and participate in meaningful educational activities.

๐ฅ Supporting activities in the youth centre
๐ Helping organise youth camps and community events
๐จ Preparing and facilitating creative and educational activities
๐ Supporting the maintenance of youth spaces and community centres
๐ค Engaging with young people through informal learning and youth work
๐ Accommodation, Food and Transport
๐ก Volunteers will stay either in the youth centre or in a shared flat in the centre of Trstenรก.
๐ฝ Volunteers receive pocket money and food allowance according to ESC programme rules.
โ๏ธ Travel costs are reimbursed based on Erasmus+ distance bands.
๐ Training and Learning Support
๐ Onboarding training organised by the host organisation

๐ Volunteers aged 18โ30
๐ Open-minded and motivated to work with young people
๐ฌ Able to communicate in English
๐ถ Experience with youth work, children, or social activities is an advantage
