The European Solidarity Corps volunteering project in Romania invites young volunteers to join a community-based health and wellbeing initiative in Nocrich village.

This short-term ESC team volunteering activity focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles, sports, nutrition awareness, and personal hygiene among local communities, especially children and young people living in rural areas.

Volunteers will spend three weeks working closely with the local community, helping organise activities that encourage active living, healthy eating, and wellbeing education.

๐ŸŒ About the Volunteering Project

In many rural communities, young people grow up with limited access to sports activities and healthy lifestyle education. This project aims to change that by introducing engaging outdoor activities and educational workshops that inspire healthier habits.

Volunteers will help organise activities such as sports sessions, outdoor games, cooking workshops, and health awareness activities, particularly focusing on young people from vulnerable communities.

The project also addresses important topics such as personal hygiene and wellbeing awareness, especially within communities that have limited access to health education.
