๐ European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Opportunity
Momentum is an ESC volunteering project hosted in Mฤrฤศeศti, Romania, designed to create a dynamic learning environment where young people grow through real-life experiences, participation and meaningful social engagement.
The project addresses challenges faced by many small communities, including limited opportunities for youth, social isolation among elderly people and restricted access to non-formal education.
Through volunteering, participants will actively contribute to the local community while developing personal and professional skills. Momentum encourages volunteers to step outside their comfort zones and discover their own potential while supporting community initiatives.
The project emphasizes learning by doing, intercultural exchange and active citizenship.

The project will also include 6 ESC volunteers with fewer opportunities, who may face challenges such as:

The hosting organization will provide additional support measures to ensure full inclusion and participation.

Volunteers will live in shared apartments equipped with:

๐ Accommodation support: 150 โฌ per month
๐ฐ Pocket money: 120 โฌ per month
โ๏ธ Travel costs are reimbursed according to the ESC distance calculator.

Volunteers will receive several forms of learning support during the project:

๐ค Continuous mentoring sessions to support personal development
๐ Intercultural learning and reflection activities
๐ Support in improving communication, teamwork and adaptability skills
